THE HONEYMOON....

So after a wonderful day it was off to our honeymoon! We spent our first night together at the Hilton Hotel... Andrew had made special arrangements for our room to be covered in rose petals with chocolate strawberries as we first walked into our room and now im kicking myself in the pants for not taking pictures of it.. before we messed it up! Dangit!! It was quite the surprise and I loved it! Thank you baby! :) The next morning we flew out to San Diego where we boarded our Cruise... It being our first for the both of us we were so excited we could hardly stand it! After eating lunch we found our room on our boat and made ourselves at home... the room was bright orange, but at the moment we didn't care, we were just excited! The next day Monday, our ship stopped at Catalina Island where we had about 5 hours or so to explore. Andrew and I walked the island and went to all kinds of cool shops. We ate a yummy lunch and then hiked to the top of a hill where we could see the majority of the island. It was a beautiful site! We then got ourselves some yummy ice cream and by then it was time to head back to the boat! The remainder of our cruise we were a little disappointed. We were stuck on the ship for the next three days because the swine flu caused the mexican ports to close, so therefore no more stops were scheduled... But we made the best of it and had a good time TOGETHER thats for sure! We were quite excited to get off the boat once we docked back in San Diego though! That day we spent the whole day in San Diego and had many crazy adventures! We stayed at a ridiculous hotel called the Se San Diego. They picked us up at the Dock in a Rockin escalade, and as we pulled up to the hotel and walked inside I was in awe. I kinda felt out of place... It was much too ritzy for my lifestyle, but we sure enjoyed pretending like we both fit in! ha! So we settled in then went to Enterprise to rent a car and were off to the San Diego temple. OH my! It is such a beautiful temple... We were able to do a session and I'm so grateful we took that opportunity while we were there! Well after the temple we traveled back to our hotel in which they informed us that it would be a $38.00 parking fee and parking on the street was just another robbery... what a joke!! So we decided to just take the car back and explore San Diego by foot. Ha... So we are both frustrated about the whole parking thing and trying to make it back to Enterprise when suddenly we realize we are on a one way street heading the WRONG DIRECTION!!! AHHHHHH!!! haha i knew something wasn't right when I noticed a car heading right for us! People on the sidewalk were waving their arms and had looks on their face as if to say what the heck are you guys doing?! After we were safe and going the right direction We couldn't help but laugh! That was the last straw... the car was definitely going back! Well... parking surely didn't have the chance to rob us but enterprise did! We had the car for a total of 3 hours and paid one outrageous price for it. OH WELL... now we know about these hidden fees when renting cars right?! Finally we were car-less! Enterprise took us back to our hotel where we enjoyed our Papa Johns Pizza for lunch and went and relaxed at the pool. We then got dressed and ready to go out on the town. We explored the streets of San Diego until we decided we were hungry. Connected to our hotel was a restraunt that seemed absolutely ridiculous and thought we ought to try it out. So we did and boy was it amazing! We shared a steak and before bringing it out to us, a server held a tray of, over a dozen, knives to choose from, as our own special cutting knife for the night. The look on Andrew's face was priceless! If anyone is obsesses with sharp knives... it would be him! After enjoying our scrumptious dinner that was really unbelievable.. we called it a night! The next day (Friday) we flew to ARIZONA, where we attended my nieces 8th grade graduation, went to dinner at good ol' Eva's in Snowflake, and then because of my sweet parents we were able to enjoy the night at the BED AND BREAKFAST. Such a cute little cottage and very well taken care of! Breakfast was absolutely yummy! Thanks to Don Porter and his crew!
